I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU LINDA, YOUR SPIRIT WILL LIVE ON FOREVER!!

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
I Knew you for a Moment

Sebastian,

My prayers are with you and your family. I have been waiting anxiously for a post praying for some sort of miracle. Thank you! Thank you for taking a few seconds to let us all know.

She is at peace now. No more suffering, no more pain, and yet another beautiful angel to watch over you....

Dear Sebastian, Reanna, and family:

I'm so sorry to hear about my dear cousin. When I saw her just a couple of weeks ago, her primary concern was still everyone else. She has an amazing heart and is a shining example of the kind of life we should all aspire to lead. Much love to you all during this incredibly difficult time.

My thoughts are with Linda, you, Reanna and your family. Linda's pain is now over, but I hope her love will help you find the strength to cope with her loss. I am not religious, but when I was outside before, looking up at the moon-lit sky, there was only one single star visible in the sky, and I thought - this could be Linda, shining brightly in the night. I never met LInda, but this is how she came across in her blogs - caring for you all and brightening your lives.

With fondest thoughts

Dear Sebastian, Reanna, and family,

I'm so very sorry to hear this news. I'd always hoped that Linda would be the one to beat the odds with her positive spirit.
Although I only met Linda one time in person we did correspond and talk a few times on the phone. Her main concern was always for her loved ones and she spoke of how much she loved you all.
I will always remember Linda as a very special person with a beautiful smile who struggled so hard to stay with the husband and daughter she loved so much.
Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

This excerpt from the Prayer of St Francis of Assisi reflects Linda's soul. May we all learn from her. May she rest, finally, in peace.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love
for it is in giving that we receive.
It is pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to
eternal life.

Sending love from southern California to you and your family,
Nancy Leonard

Sebastian,
I have been following Linda
s journey through Miss Melanoma's blog and I just saw this post. It took the wind out of me. May your lovely memories of Linda at her best and most beautiful be a reminder through the tough times ahead for your entire family. I too am a melanoma patient, and I can see that what got her through it all was you and the girls, and her family and friends. May you find peace that she is no longer in pain and know she is free from melanoma forever. Our warrior has lain her sword to revel in the quiet and watch over us all. God Bless you all.

Sebastian, Reanna, and Family:

Please know that I am here for you all, and that if you need anything, do not hesitate to let me know. I pray that you receive what you need during this difficult time of loss. When Linda arrived heaven, I'm sure she heard God say, "Well done good and faithful servant". (Math 25:23) I can only imagine Linda is smiling down on us, free from pain. She's now the angel watching over us.

All my love,
Claudia

Sebastian,

I only met Linda once at my sister Natalie's ladies night but thought she was a very nice person. I would have never known she was sick as she was just so calm and happy to be with her friends. I am so very sorry for your loss and I am glad that you have a great family and group of friends to be there for you in this time. Please take care of yourself and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. The last days have no doubt been so difficult. May you find peace and comfort in your memories, and may you rejoice in knowing that melanoma can never hurt her again.

You are in my prayers over the next hard days, and always.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Linda but have followed her blog. My husband died last May from melanoma that went from a mole on his back to his brain in 15 months. Linda was beautiful and amazing. My prayers are with you and your family at the devastating time.

I LOVE AND MISS YOU AUNTIE LINDA,YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART

God saw that she was getting tired
And the cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around her
And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
And saw her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Busy little hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
Since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."

Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday."

I just returned home from vacation and read that Linda had passed last Monday. She passed on my birthday (Mar 9) and I feel a sense of relief for her.

Over my vacation I read a book by a famous medium named John Edward and he gave me the piece of mind that after our loved ones pass they are ok.

much love and sadness
