Trying to get through the day

Today will be a very hard day. Today we begin to lay to rest our beloved Linda. I have not seen my beautiful wife since she was picked up from our home on Monday. I hope I do not fail her. Please continue to pray for our family that we may have the strength today and tomorrow to make Linda proud.

The gathering/pot luck after the service on Saturday will be held at the following address. 23457 Summit Rd. Los Gatos, Ca 95033

In no way possible could you fail her. As I was reading this, these words came to mind, from Robert Browning to his wife:

"I look back, and in every one point, every word and gesture, every letter, every silence, you have been entirely perfect to me, I would not change one word, one look.

My hope and aim are to preserve this love, not to fall from it, for which I trust to God who procured it for me, and doubtless can preserve it.

You have given me the highest, completest proof of love that ever one human being gave another. I am all gratitude, and all pride, all pride that my life has been so crowned by you."

I know how it feels thinking you are going to let her down or won't have the strength to handle what's coming up; but I can tell you - she will give you the strength you need. You all are constantly in my prayers; I know in my heart that The Lord and your angel will carry you through any troubles you face. If you ever need to talk feel free to contact me. God bless and stay strong.

Linda is very proud of you and always will be.She told me on the phone one day when you were applying for a different department with your job just how proud she was,and how much it meant to you.She knew how much it meant for you,and how happy it would of made you.I think that's probably how she looked at everything for you, just wanting you to be happy. You have in no way failed her,or ever will. You have been a loving husband, and father. And I hope no one ever makes you feel otherwise.Linda loved you, through thick and thin she loved you...and you her. There's no one else "I" would have wanted her to share her life with then with you.Just do the best you can,and don't be so hard on yourself, give yourself time to heal. And if you fall down at times, let yourself know it's ok.Everbody, including me is here for you if you ever need anything. Please don't ever hesitate to call for any reason.I love you and Reanna very much, you are in my prayers.Love,Tina
